Launched during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Virtual Tastings is a project by the multi-award-winning wine retailer Novel Wines, which was founded in 2016 by Ben Franks FRSA and Gyorgy Zsiga (pictured).

The Event
Our Virtual Tastings last around 1 to 2 hours. Every event is guided by an expert host. We normally run these over Zoom, but if you would prefer to use Skype or Google Hangout, please let us know in advance.
Once booked, we will send your nominated organiser the Zoom link to share with your guests. Our expert will be there five minutes before your start time and we usually allow 10-15 minutes for all your guests to arrive and get settled. During this time you can have an informal chat with our expert, or get a head start on any latecomers!
As we send you the drinks to try, you need to book your tasting at least one full week before your event so everything can arrive with you in good time. If you’re on shorter notice, call us to enquire.
The Booze
Our wines, ciders and spirits are selected from the Novel Wines award-winning range, so you can enjoy guaranteed good quality at every event.
Novel Wines also specialises in products that offer you something different, so you’ll be introduced to wonderful wines you may never have tasted before, ciders unlike any other, and spirits with real character.
